Your hotel in the heart of Zagreb
Wondering how to get here without getting lost? We're right in the heart of Zagreb on the main city square, which makes finding us pretty straightforward once you know the trick. Since we're in a pedestrian zone, GPS can sometimes send you in circles, but don't worry—we'll walk you through it step by step.
You'll find us at Ulica Ljudevita Gaja 1, sitting right on Zagreb's main square. It's the kind of location where everything you want to see is just steps away. The Archaeological Museum is nearby, the cathedral is around the corner, and there's even a tram station right in front of the hotel.
Here's something important to know: our parking lot isn't attached to the hotel building. The parking is located at Praška ulica 5, about a 100-meter walk from the hotel entrance. Both streets are pedestrian zones, so your GPS might get confused and try to route you incorrectly.
If you book directly through our website, parking is free. When you reach the parking area, look for the first ramp on the right side of the street where you'll see a portable phone.
Flying into Zagreb? You've got a few options to reach us. The Croatia Airlines bus runs every 30 minutes to the Main Bus Station and costs about €4 for a one-way ticket. The ride takes 35-40 minutes, and from there you can hop on tram number 6 towards Črnomerec.
Prefer a taxi? Expect to pay around €35-45, depending on traffic. We can also arrange a private transfer for you at €33 for a standard car or €50 for a van—just let us know when you book.
Coming from the south? Take highway A1 towards Zagreb. Once you enter the city, follow Jadranska Avenue until you reach a roundabout where you'll take exit three toward the city center. Cross the Jadranski Bridge and turn right onto Savska Street.
Keep going straight until you pass the intersection with Vodnikova Street, then turn right onto Žerjavićeva Street. The fourth street on your left is Gajeva Street—turn there and drive straight past the Archaeological Museum on your right. After the museum, turn right onto Teslina Street, then left at the first traffic light towards Ban Jelačić Square. You'll spot the parking entrance straight ahead on your left.
Approaching from the east? Take highway A3 toward Zagreb. Follow Slavonska Avenue straight until you reach the Zagreb fountains on Hrvatske Bratske Zajednice Street, where you'll turn right. From there, follow the signs toward the city center and look for directions to Ban Jelačić Square.
Once you've parked, it's just a short walk to the hotel entrance. Exit the parking area and walk through Marić passage. When you reach the end, turn right, and you'll see the hotel right there waiting for you.
Zagreb's public transport is fantastic, and we're perfectly connected. The tram station is literally in front of our hotel. If you're coming from the bus station, take tram number 6 toward Črnomerec and get off at Trg Bana Jelačića station. A half-hour ticket costs about €0.54, and the ride takes just 10 minutes.
Both the hotel address and parking address are in pedestrian zones where cars can't drive. Your GPS doesn't recognize these restrictions, so it might give you incorrect directions. Follow our driving instructions above instead of relying solely on GPS.
It's only about 100 meters—less than a two-minute walk. You'll exit the parking lot, walk through Marić passage, turn right at the end, and the hotel is right there.
Yes! When you book through our official website, we include free parking for your entire stay. The parking lot is at Praška ulica 5, separate from the main hotel building.
The easiest option is our private transfer service at €33 for a standard car. Alternatively, take the Croatia Airlines bus to the Main Bus Station (€4, runs every 30 minutes), then tram number 6 to Trg Bana Jelačića—that's our square!
Absolutely! That's one of the best things about staying with us. We're on the main square, so Zagreb Cathedral, the Old Town, Dolac Market, and most tourist sites are within easy walking distance. You won't need transportation for sightseeing.
